Yep, that's right: the hardware is subsidized to cost $200 less than before, but those sneaky bastards charming people at AT&T are trying to sneak in a $10 a month price increase for unlimited data (bumping it from $20/month to $30/month).
$10 a month over a two year contract is an extra $240, so the iPhone 3G actually ends up costing $40 more than the old iPhone.
