Info is slipping out on the Canon EOS 1Ds Mark II professional digital camera that may be officially announced later this week.

The Canon EOS 1Ds Mark II is supposed to feature a 16.7 megapixel sensor (4992 x 3328 pixels), have both CF and SD memory card slots, larger buffe (4 images per second up to 11 images RAW or 32 JPEG), and more tweaking options than a mere mortal will ever need.

More detailed features of the Canon EOS 1Ds Mark II are: ISO: 100-1600 (ext 50-3200), 45 AF-points, 1/8000-30 sec, 2 inch 223,000 pixel LCD TFT Screen, 20 Personal preferences with 65 instances, 27 Personal functions, and weight of 1215g + 335g battery (NP-E3).
