Casio has announced the EX-Z50 and EX-Z55 digital cameras (replacing the existing EX-Z40 model.

The Casio EX-Z50 and EX-Z55 are 5 megapixel slim body cameras with large LCDs.

The Casio EX-Z50 has a 2" 354x240 pixel LCD, and the EX-Z55 has a 2.5" 480x240 pixel LCD.

Both the EX-Z50 and the EX-Z55 feature a 3x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom, 9.3mb built-in flash memory, and a SD / MCC memory card slot.

The dimensions of both the EX-Z50 and EX-Z55 are 3.5" x 2.3" x 0.9", and the EX-Z50 weighs 4.3 ounces (the EX-Z55 is lsightly heavier at 4.6 ounces).
