Rumors abound that the Nintendo DS will be available before Thanksgiving (November 25th).
The Nintendo DS is a big step forward in terms of features on a portable game system: it has two 3 inch LCD screens and the bottom screen is touch sensitive like a PDA.
The Nintendo DS also has a port for connecting a microphone, wireless connectivity (both 802.11 and a proprietary Nintendo system), 16 channel sound, and two processors.
It also features 2 slots for games, one for Gameboy Advance games, and a new one for DS games which can be over 1GB in size.
I think the DS sucks!!!!!
I played it at eb games for about 30 minutes and couldn't even figure out how to move my crosshairs from left to right and vis versa. Also no offense to Metroid because it is a good game but I though it was supposed to be a first person shooter, not a game were you can touch the enemy with a stylus and it shoots it for you.
the graphics are amazing, and the possibilities are endless with the uses for the touch screen. I am hoping that a programer will also take advantage of the wifi capability and make an online fps for the DS. Back to the graphics, even the old gameboy Advanced games look amazing on this thing. The only problem that i have ncountered so far is that i am going to have to wait for more games to come out for it.
I thinks its amazing i even masterbated to it many times with my dog listening to christian rock while playing animal crossing at the same time.

Finally a wireless handheld!!! The graphics are amazing and the games are alot of fun too, though only the SEGA one takes full advantage of the touch screen at the moment. As for the comment made about Metroid, the controls for it work sooo well and the game plays just like the other 2 on the GC. And Metroid isnt a FPS is an FPA.
im pondering weither to buy the ds or the psp.... all i play are fps so its very hard decision
