Laptops/notebooks typically have hard drives a lot smaller than desktop pcs which can be a pain if you are traveling on business and also want to watch movies and listen to music on your laptop.
A typical laptop with a 30gb hard drive doesn't have a lot of space left after installing XP, office and a host of other business applications.
This situation should be improving soon as Fujitsu have just started shipping a 100gb 2.5 inch 4200rpm hard drive for laptops/notebooks.
Expect to see these appearing in high-end hard-drives by the end of the month and for cheaper prices to allow more 40gb and 60gb drives in lower priced laptops.
