Would you buy a refurbished 2G iPhone?

refurbished iphone

Would you buy a refurbished iPhone today?, not just any old iPhone but a 2G iPhone tied to a new two-year service agreement.

Maybe if you are really dumb and don't realize the new 3G iPhone will be out within a month, probably at a subsidized price of $199.

That is what AT&T seems to be hoping for as they have just started offering refurbished iPhones for sale: 8GB for $249 and 16GB for $349.

Wasn't it P.T. Barnum who said "There's a sucker born every minute"? AT&T sure seem to be hoping that's true.
