Eurocom have announced a new laptop that is so powerful and heavy it can hardly be called a laptop anymore: I could duck tape a 24" monitor and a keyboard to the side of my desktop PC and I still couldn't call it a more powerful laptop than the Eurocom D901C.

Features? how about a 2.8GHz Quad Core XEON X3360 processor, 1.5TB of storage (with RAID of course), 8GB of DDR2-800 memory, 8800M GTX with dual SLI, blu-ray burner, and a 17" 1920x1200 screen.

You know what's equally amazing: they claim the battery life is still more than an hour!

What will it cost with all those maxed out specs? well according to the Eurocom D901C configurator-gizmo you will pay over $6500 after they finish "nickel and diming" you for everything from wifi to bluetooth.
