We now have a better idea of the price of the MSI wind thanks to importer Expansys who just listed the UK version as available for pre-order on their site.
For $610 you get a 10" backlit LED screen, a 1.6Ghz Atom processor, 80GB hard drive (that would be the first thing we added to), 1GB RAM (upgrade this too), WiFi, Bluetooth, XP home, and a 1.3 megapixel webcam.
The Linux version isn't listed yet but on the UK site it is $60 less, so assume a Linux one in the States would be about $550. That's a great price for such a powerful mini-notebook.
