Greenpix zero energy LCD display

China is building some interesting stuff in an attempt to look good for the 2008 Beijing Olympics, case in point is this zero energy media wall by GreenPix.

The wall is said to be the largest color LCD display in the world and is powered only by solar panels built into the wall. It charges during the say and displays images at night.

No information on the actual dimensions of the wall or the resolution of the images it will display, but the real question is "will the wall and the rest of the Olympics takes peoples mind off what is happeneing in Tibet, the massive pollution in Beijing, and the crackdowns on free speech and any political dissent?".
