Pioneer has just announced a new projector as part of their high-end Kuro line of A/V equipment.
The Kuro 9000-FD is a LCoS (Liquid Crystal on Silicon) projector capable of 1920x1080 pixel resolution on a 14.5 x 8 foor screen.
Other features include a 2x zoom lens, 30,000:1 contrast ration, 600 lumens brightness, 2 HDMI 1 component 1 composite 1 S-video ports, and a remote with backlit buttons.
The Pioneer Kuro 9000-FD projector will be available in Europe in May for about $12,000.
