Intel’s new P45 chipset should be getting released in the next few weeks and Hot Hardware got their hands on one of the first motherboards to use it: the Asus P5Q Deluxe.
The P45 chipset bring a few good enhancements to the table: support for 1600MHz FSB processors, PCI Express 2.0 and 65mn manufacturing (reduce heat and power). SATA connectivity is also improved due to a new ICH10 southbridge.
Hot Hardware don’t have it up and running yet but they have posted some pics.
